Kimora Lee moves on

Kimora Lee first announced that as of September 1, she was parting ways with Baby Phat after 14 years of cultivating the brand. The model-turned-fashion-mogul broke the news very politely to E! News and there didn’t seem to be any hard feelings over the split.

“It’s time for me to move on and further expand my other businesses and create a new phenomenon,” she said. “I adore all those who have faithfully been with me since the beginning.”

Her Twitter, however, tweeted a different story. She claimed that Baby Phat’s parent company Kellwood forced her out. In retaliation she called for her followers and other supporters to boycott Baby Phat once she leaves, stating, “As Ludacris would say: When I move, you move.”

I know I always loved her style and business sense, so I will be following her wherever. What do you think about it?
