Farewell to President Barack Obama

Will you miss President, Barack Obama?

On January 10th, I witnessed President Obama’s live farewell speech in Chicago. It was a very emotional moment. Being moved by the parts where he thanked his wife, his daughters, and his Vice President, Joe Biden for their support was the best. Having both him and Michelle Obama in the White House these past 8 years really exuded what I heard as a child. Always hearing that you can be and do anything you set your mind to. They carried themselves well and are such a wonderful family to be proud of.

He will truly be missed by me and I pray that the future goes well…

Happy New Year!

It’s been awhile as I have been on a major hiatus, building my career brand. Watching my girls grow bigger, stronger, and smarter.

I have decided that 2017 is going to be a blessed year. The have been some proud moments of accomplishments achieved in 2016. I am looking forward to blossoming it into something great. One great accomplishment is being able to see and witness President Obama in person at Florida International University. It was really an inspiring moment. I am so glad that I was able to witness his speech in person during his presidency.

Sundays in our house

So tomorrow is work and school. Sundays in our house means church, washing clothes, grocery shopping, and doing hair.

After all of this and the kids are bathed and in bed, we can relax and watch our shows. The routine is great and never fails. I have been putting my girls down for bed at 8:00PM since they were each 4 months old.

I am ready for a productive work week and hope to improve my work life balance.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
